MY FAVOURITE STRAINS
GHOST TOOF
A strong candidate to be one of the best beginner strains we have, Ghost Toof is an easy strain to get right; she isn’t very fussy with nutrients and doesn’t have a wide range of phenotypes allowing you to have consistency across grows. She responds nicely to training due to strong side-branching, so you can get that bud mass spread across the entire plant to help increase yield.
SUPER ORANGE HAZE
Overall we'd classify the Super Orange haze as a medium-sized strain, with potential in the correct environment to monster at a fast rate. Seedling growth is steady, the internodal gaps will vary depending on the light source used, in our breeding environment, she will produce good dominant branching from early on. Leaves begin looking thick green and indica (especially seen side by side with our other new sativa strains) however as she transitions into pre-flower and then full flower, the leaves also transition and express a much more sativa style of plant.
Oils start to emerge not long after stretch and bud sites start to form and then they build exponentially from there on out. Naturally, Super Orange haze will form quite a thick main cola, with decent sized secondaries to match, but she will train in a way that can spread that flower weight across the whole plant for a higher than average yield.
Overall the Super Orange Haze isn't a finicky plant to grow, and the quality of nuggetry is certainly of the top shelf xxx variety, she's pretty adaptable also, lending well to low or high plant density grows.
SAMSQUANCH
Samsquanch is a vigorous strain that produces very well in the correct environment. She branches very well indeed, making multiple colas that are stacked with flowers. Flowers grow compactly but your bush will be positively loaded with them. If allowed space she will grow tall and wide, we'd classify her as the large side of medium to the small side of large. She is adaptable and lends well to training and would definitely benefit from canopy maintenance and clearing out any inner or lower flowering sites that won't receive much light. With the extra size development she does take in the region of 70-75 days from sprout to complete her cycle, the results however are well worth the extra days wait. To us personally, we consider her one of the tastiest available, especially if you're into your OG funk.
FUGUE STATE
Fugue State is a sativa dominant strain that grows with very nice vigour. She forms a branchy open structure quickly, and as she works through her cycle her leaves become more slender and fine with sharp serrations on the leaves. Despite the sativa traits she's fast flowering and matures quickly with bulk to boot, akin to something like C99. We're really happy how she's transferred into an autoflowering variety, she will veg/pre-flower and stretch to around day 35-40 from sprout but then transitions hard into flower. The flowers she produces are size-able, with a compact density and adorned with white frost. Basically she's a lovely automatic spectacle to grow and witness developing on a daily basis.
HUBBABUBBASMELLOSCOPE
Hubbabubbasmellocope is a thin sativa plant that grows fast with great vigour, this fast growth means she can be delicate as her fine branches pack on yield and often needs support late in flower to keep the colas up and in place. She responds very well to training and basically accepts anything you want to do; super cropping, LST, topping. Hubbabubbasmelloscope doesn’t spare too many trichomes for fan leaves but she totally encrusts her flowers in lovely sweet resin. Flowers indoor are compact and easy to trim producing a high-grade final product. Warning: she can grow very large! Hubbabubba wanted to outgrow our 6ft polytunnels in height, having to supercrop the main stem to reign her in. Her large open Xmas tree like structure makes it an ideal strain for outdoors.
PRODUCT
Mango Smile can be assessed as quite unusual in behaviour and structure; she starts off with unique leaf shapes, soft but definitely showing her sativa genetics. The seedling and the vegetative stage are quite undramatic, she just gets on with it! She is a fairly open structured plant from the off, however, once she sexes and hits the pre-flower stage, all hell breaks loose. Following our MG grow method for breeding of 18 female plants per 4x8ft space, every time we've grown Mango Smile, they've outgrown the 7ft ceiling height, requiring a heavy supercrop of the main stem to bring them into line. We would definitely recommend growing Mango Smile at lower plant densities. We would recommend a big pot, and actively training them from early on, be it as minor as leaf tucking, to LST, to HST and scrogging, they can be manipulated heavily without slowing them down too much. Be prepared for a generous stretch, if grown naturally the foliage will be pretty sparse, she puts out big fan leaves and the branches have large internodal gaps. If trained, her foliage will be more apparent and will probably require several sessions of leaf management to ensure all the flower sites are bathed adequately in light.
